Children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are now entitled to a free school meal.
KS2 Children can stay for a school meal at a cost of £2.55 a day or £12.75 per week, payable via Parentpay online or via Paypoint card at any local store which displays the Paypoint logo. Payments must be made in advance you can choose to pay weekly or termly. Details of payments are available from reception. Some children are entitled to free school meals, please ask the Administrative Assistant at the school if you think you qualify. The school meals are cooked on the premises, parents are most welcome to view or try the provision, by appointment with the office staff. We are very proud of our healthy school meals and the children have a variety of choices.
Our school catering team meet regularly with the Healthy Lifestyles committee, made up of children from Year One to Year Six.

Packed Lunches
Children can bring a packed lunch if parents prefer, in a box clearly marked with the child's name. Sweets (confectionary), chocolate bars and fizzy drinks are not allowed. We have children in school with nut allergies and ask that children do not bring nut products into school. We ask parents to support us in healthy eating when considering the contents of the lunchbox.
General Food and Drink
We encourage children to eat fruit at playtimes children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage One are provided with fruit every day. Key stage 2 children are encouraged to bring fresh fruit from home.
Milk is available for children in all classes and may be purchased from www.schoolmilk.co.uk, payable in advance.
We encourage children to drink plenty of water during the day. Drinking water is provided in or near each classroom. Every child needs a named clear plastic drinking bottle for tap water, which may be used during the day. Juices or flavoured waters are not permitted. Drinking bottles are available from school and can be purchased via Parentpay.
Sweets, crisps, chewing gum etc. are not allowed in school for snacks.
